In 3 (eLearning) or 4 days you obtain your first, international diving certification, allowing you to join guided dives or dive in a independently with a buddy - given you have appropriate experience - to a maximum depth of 18m.

Day 1 is theory day - you aquire all necessary basic knowledge for the course by viewing the PADI Course Videos and working with the manual

This day is optional if you have done the theory by obtaining an eLearning-package from us.


Day 2 is dedicated to the skills training in the pool - here you learn all necessary diving and motor skills to become a diver - our instructors will hone them with you to prepare for the next Step: The Open Water Dives.


On day 3+4 you join our diving boat and start the most enjoyable part of the course: Your firts 4 dives in the Red Sea. Here the fun part is the main objective, while repeating the skills you trained in the pool, but with plenty of time to enjoy the underwater world.


Equipment, Certification & Digital Manual on certification included - study materials provided locally during the course.

  • Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
  • Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
  • Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.

You can inquire in the diving center about the gear you’ll use during this course and get advice about everything you need from your PADI Instructor.

Getting Started

You can also start learning with PADI’s home-study materials – Open Water Diver (available on iOS, Android and via Web Viewer) or the Open Water Diver Manual and Open Water Diver Video (a book and DVD package). Stop by our Divecenter to enroll in the course, get your materials and start reading the book and watching the video. Your PADI Instructor will schedule time with you to check your progress and make sure you understand important scuba diving information.
